The need for some reforms, necessary for the restoration of the state, was the great misery of the time. . .Aristophanes finds suitable ground to present another comedy based on women. This is because women, despite their conservative temperament, precisely because they have a practical mind, in difficult circumstances propose solutions – if not outrageous – but certainly more daring than those of men.
